Officially, there are no dress code rules in most of the clubs and bars in Lima. However, Peruvians like to dress up nicely when they go out, so make sure you don’t stand out too much in the crowd. As in most of the other capitals, exclusive clubs require long trousers, high heels, and smart look.
For buying and drinking alcohol, the legal age is 18 years. ID checks are not common practice at the entrance of the bars. However, security might ask you to show your ID if you want to get in the nightclub.
