Party hostels in Krabi can get pretty wild on weekends. During the rest of the week, most of them are hosting happy hour and drinking games before going for a bar-crawls.
Even though Krabi is a small town, nightlife there is amazing. Ao Nang is a perfect party area to stay in! There are a lot of pubs, bars and and clubs. A lot of them are located on the beach, which immediately makes any party 100 times better! Most of the party hostels mentioned above are located in Ao Nang.
Krabi is a small but very vibrant place, especially in the evenings and weekends. The city is very popular among students and people travelling on a budget, thanks to various (sometimes even weird) types of entertainment, and cheap drinks. Party scene is pretty wild, with tons of crazy go-go clubs, cocktail bars, and dim-light pubs.
As in most of the cities in Thailand, Krabi also has entertaining areas where the parties last until sunrise. Most famous ones are Ao Nang Center Point and Soi RCA, both crowded with lively bars and nightclubs. The areas are less than 1 km away from each other, and if you are too lazy or too drunk to walk, cheap “tuk-tuk” will take you there for a small fee.
The biggest entertainment complex in the area. Crowded by locals and tourists 24/7. Besides regular nightclubs and bars with spacious dance floors and international hits, the area is known for hosting the Dragon Cabaret shows.
Colourful lighting, loud music, and gallons of alcohol – this is what you should expect from popular disco clubs like Crystal, KR Bar and Pub, The Web Cocktail bar, etc. Blue Dragon Cabaret is a ladyboy cabaret show with 3 performances per night. Fantastic costumes, makeup, and dance moves are the experience you don’t want to miss.
Second most crowded party zone in Krabi is lively Soi RCA area. The area has more chilled and relaxed vibes compared to the Ao Nang Centre, but still worth visiting. Most of the bars have the outdoor seating areas along with dancefloors smaller than the ones in Ao Nang Centre. If you want to meet locals and make new friends in Krabi, the area is just perfect for you.
Bars and clubs are literally lined one to another. Check out the vibrant Kitty Bar, Left Side Bar, Mushroo Bar, or Black Butterfly.
Despite just a couple of elegant lounges and bars with casual dress code, party places in Krabi don’t have any strict rule when it comes to outfits for clubbing. If you don’t know what to wear, well, wear whatever makes you feel good. Shirts, trousers, jeans, skirts, dresses – they are all welcomed in bars and clubs.
Selling alcohol to people younger than 18 is prohibited in Krabi. However, ID checks are not common practice in clubs and bars.
