Scotland’s largest city, Glasgow combines Victorian architecture and a vibrant arts scene. A former European City of Culture, it is home to many national organisations including the Scottish Ballet and the National Theatre of Scotland. The museums are also world class. Not to be missed are the futuristic-looking Glasgow Science Centre and the eclectic exhibits at the Kelvingrove.
Lined with Georgian buildings, George Square is the city’s focal point and the spot for Glasgow Hogmanay celebrations. Fanning out from here are streets housing venues for the city’s main love: music. From classical concerts to up-and-coming bands, every taste is catered for.

Glasgow is a wonderful city, full of culture, art, spectacular buildings and many attractions for young and old. Many people travel to Edinburgh for their taste of Scotland but, although Edinburgh is a beautiful City, it’s not Glasgow😉

It's a quiet place with good shopping areas that are all walking distance. Restaurants are also cross-cultural, so you can explore different cuisines. I loved how the locations are close to each other - you can take leisure time in going around and still be on time for your next bus or train schedule.

The people are so friendly!
The people are so friendly! Even though the weather might be a bit bad (windy and rainy), the people make up for it! They have nice parks and nature, as well as pretty architecture. I was only there for three days, but I would love to come back and explore more.
I have celiac disease which often makes traveling hard, but I had no problem finding gluten-free options in Glasgow.

The city of Glasgow has it's own charm, also with the location of the place you feel like being in the centre of all the action.
The city centre is just a few minutes walk away and you get to enjoy most of the iconic places which are a must visit in Glasgow. The public transport is awesome with both the buses and subway starting early and operational till midnight. If you have a train ticket there's a free bus service from the station to city centre or even the Buchanan bus station.
There's lots of nice pubs and eateries along with most popular fast food joints close by as per your taste to enjoy the world cuisine.
But we wanted to enjoy simple food so preferred eating in the apart hotel itself with the kitchen being fully loaded by us before hand. The weather was a bit spoiler with rain and wind affecting the outdoor trips, so it helped to be staying in apart hotel with kitchen facilities. But it was a great Easter holidays break for the children.
The trip to Highlands is one hour closer from Glasgow than Edinburgh which is comparatively a bit on the costly side too.

The center is pretty busy and noisy, not really cycle friendly, further out it is quiet, peaceful, lots of nature, cycle tracks, walks etc architecture is amazing everywhere you look ! Shops and restaurants are good but expensive never the less, products are quality, bring plenty money!
Young men at reception had bad attitude. One told us they were a budget hotel and couldn't give us a wake up call for our early morning flight being our American phones weren't working properly in Scotland. The ladies in the morning were so helpful. We just thought the young men in the early evening may discrimate against elderly Americans. Possibly just elderly or just Americans. The rest was very nice. Won't go back there again when in Glasgow. I'll try the Radisson across the street.
Our apartment was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed for a one week stay.
Location is great, right in the city centre. 10 minute walk to Glasgow Central station or the West End. No car park but there is on street parking or a Q-park 2 minutes away. Plenty of shops within walking distance.
Housekeeper was lovely, you do need to book your clean but they were more than accommodating.
Overall, great value for money compared to neighbouring hotels.
The gentleman at reception on our arrival was lovely ,very friendly and helpful. He made a great first impression and made us feel very welcome .
The hotel was very clean ,our room was surprisingly quiet despite being very central in Glasgow city centre.
Very warm room which welcome after being out in a very cold Glasgow .
Very good value for money ! We would definitely stay again if we were planning on staying in Glasgow again.
Often come to Glasgow for gigs so always looking fro something reasonably priced and central. Great location and decent sized room close to the city centre. Nice that they offer twin rooms as I often travel with friends and it's nice to not have to share a bed. The room was well sized for Glasgow and the price was good. The hotel itself was nice, bar and cafe open late. Preferred it to other places I have stayed in Glasgow.
The hotel has a great location and offers reasonable prices. It's just a 5-minute walk from Glasgow's city centre and is easy to find. The staff were friendly and recommended that we use the lockers at the bus station, which turned out to be the right suggestion as the service there was much quicker and cheaper.
Lovely clean hotel. Well situated for a city centre visit and also very accessible to the Hydro and SEC via Glasgow Central which is not far away. Check in and check out was smooth. Friendly staff, clean room and all you needed in your room for your stay. Breakfast was excellent and was topped up regular.
GoGlasgow Hotel is conveniently located in the south area of Glasgow. There are bus stops opposite the hotel with frequent buses, so you can reach the city centre and come back pretty quickly.
You have the option to add breakfast to your booking, which was good.
The hotel was strategic, located next to Glasgow Queen St. Station and in front of George Square (which had a lovely Christmas Market when I visited). My single room was much bigger than I expected, with a nice table and chair and a work desk.
Great location in the city centre! Car park across the street (cheap for hotel guests). Laundry service. Great staff. Good breakfast. I've been there for the 3rd time, and I'll always book my room(s) there whenever I'm in Glasgow.
The location of this hotel is very good for easy access to Glasgow city centre. The staff are very friendly. The rooms are basic, but the small touchs like providing cans of ironbrew and wafer biscuits are very welcoming.
It's right by the Glasgow subway which makes it a brilliant location the Glasgow House, it's really good value for money compared to the city centre hotels and the staff are really friendly too
The hotel was in a fantastic location and we enjoyed being able to walk through Glasgow City Centre almost daily. It was convenient having the train and underground within walking distance.
The owner is lovely. She gave us information about where to go in Glasgow. The room is big, location is ok, not far from city centre. Good place to stay 1 night
Nice, clean, big enough, well equipped apartment. All we needed for our stay in Glasgow. City centre location! Everything you need is just few steps around.
